Common questions

Which countries and currencies does it work in?

Anywhere. Pick your main currency at signup and add accounts in any other currency; totals convert with current exchange rates.

Is it for me or for my business?

Both. Choose personal or business when you sign up and the app puts the right tools first. You can switch in Settings, and every feature stays available.

Do I have to connect my bank account?

No. You can start by recording transactions yourself or importing them from SMS with the mobile app. Direct bank sync is coming soon and is optional.

Does it work with M-PESA and other mobile money?

Yes. Add a mobile-money account like any other account. The mobile app can read M-PESA and bank SMS and record the transactions for you.

How do transactions get in?

Record them on the web, import them from bank and mobile-money SMS with the mobile app, or create them from invoices and bills. Direct bank sync is coming soon.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

Choose a monthly plan to keep the paid features. The pricing page shows the price you are charged and, outside its home market, an approximate US dollar amount.

Can my accountant use it?

Yes. Export the ledger, or share the accounting reports. Business plans include a team workspace.

Is my data safe?

Your workspace is private to your account and the people you invite. Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are never stored in readable form, and you can export or take your data with you at any time.

How do I get help?

Send us a message from the contact page or email [email protected]. A person reads every message, and we usually reply within one working day.

Is the advisor giving financial advice?

It gives educational planning support based on your own records. It does not give regulated investment, tax or legal advice.
